ENSEADA - installation

In ancient Greece it was believed that the stars were windows through which the gods peered into the lives of men. It is within this premise that I created this installation, a small window between the stars so that you can peek into the store, in this case the Dallas shoe store, thus being on the same plane as the gods.

Two sparkling panels that during the day form an immense firmament, and that at nightfall “light up”, highlighting some constellations related to the place where the work is located, through paint that glows in the dark.

This installation was part of ENSEADA, a public art festival that took place in the city of Funchal in 2023
